Warehouse Safety | Anti Collapse Mesh - Coloured Steel

Coloured steel anti collapse mesh not only provides the same performance and protection as regular steel meshing, it also creates a more visually impacting rack face, clearly showing which face is open as well as presenting a more clean looking rack.

Anti collapse mesh is an ideal way of creating a secured working environment, the mesh panel’s form a barrier which prevents falling objects from injuring people in the warehouse. 

Steel mesh is typically seen where a walkway runs along the rear face of a rack, these areas can be notorious for falling objects.  If a racking beam is accidently broken, the pallets and contents affected will fall against the anti collapse mesh or in to the loading aisle.

Steel mesh is available in three types, depending on the level of security required.  The differences are in the wire layouts which are as follows:
25mm x 25mm
50mm x 50mm
100mm x 50mm

The closer the layout of wire i.e. 25mm x 25mm, the stronger the structure and the less that can be passed through.  This is typically seen in small parts storage, and where aerosols and other hazardous products are stored.  50mm x 50mm is the most common size adopted in general warehouse environments.
