Warehouse Safety | Internal Walkways - Internal Zebra Crossing

ASG Services internal zebra crossings are instantly recognisable by all people working in the warehouse as they are the universally recognised symbol where the path of pedestrians and vehicles cross.  These improve warehouse safety, by continuing the pedestrian line marking design.

Zebra crossings form the highest visual floor marking, however risk assessments produced often state that people and forklift truck routes should not cross.  This is often not possible due to space restrictions and layouts making zebra crossings the most suitable option.

There is no specific guidance from national bodies with regards to the use of zebra crossings inside buildings and while they come with excellent initial impact and recognition other products should be considered in conjunction with the floor marking.
