Warehouse Safety | Internal Walkways - Solid Walkway

Internal walkways are becoming more and more common in today’s warehouse and distribution facilities to help improve safety.

Many clients ask us to advise them on the best method as they have tried to install floor marking or used another contractor who simply did not have the knowledge, experience or equipment to provide the solution required.

We have a number of options for walkways which include a selection of preparation methods including:
- Mechanical cleaning,
- Vacuum shot blasting, and
- Diamond grinding and/or shaving.

Each preparation method gives a different level of durability and aesthetical results, so ASG Services are very careful to advice and provide the solution which the customer is happy with and which matches their budget.

Materials used for solid walkways is also present a major factor on the durability of the finished product.  ASG Services have several variations which help achieve the best solution in individual circumstances.

As yet there is no guidance on colours from any national body, so ASG recommend green for the pedestrian walkways, which we have found to be most popular.
