Materials handling equipment battery charging areas have two main features.
1. They mark out clearly on the floor the boundary of the charging area and keep other vehicles and movements a way.
2. They act as a protective barrier to the floor from truck oil and acid spills that penetrate the concrete and cause problems at a later date.
Solvent free high build resins have excellent chemical and acid resistance properties and should be considered in battery charge areas. If these areas are near doors ASG Services can also add an anti-slip surface to reduce the risk of slipping.
Battery Charge areas are not adopted as they should be in today’s busy warehouse environments.
